Carling Corridor: Future Developments
Ottawa has seen its fair share of development throughout the central neighbourhoods over the past decade.. Carling Avenue is the next hot spot for development, with plenty of projects to come within the next ten years, and a huge increase in the residential population.
Between Broadview Ave. and Bronson Ave. there’s currently 12 proposed projects with over 30 towers(over 7200 units) planned to be built/several under construction or recently completed. Also in the area, the recently approved new Civic Hospital Campus is located on a 50 acre site west of Dows Lake, slated to open in 2028.
